Mack Medical - Home Care Recipient / Employer
In addition to providing medical staffing services to facilities, MACK Medical also provides one-on-one care to individuals in facilities or in their homes.
MACK Medical Home Care, a division of MACK Medical Staffing Services, is a referral service that refers quality caregivers that can provide ADL (activities of daily living) including ambulation & transfers, bathing & dressing, companionship, continence care, medication reminders, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation.
Care is available around the clock for time blocks between four and twenty-four hours per day. Our on-call staff is available twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week for emergency situations.

Types of Care
Hourly
Customized care for those times when it is needed most, from four to twenty-four hours per day.
Overnight with Sleep
A twelve-hour shift for one flat rate, geared for those who need assistance going to bed and getting up in the morning. If needed, the caregiver will get up with the client one to three times a night for assistance.
The caregiver is to get approximately eight hours of sleep per night. For additional coverage, this type of care can be combined with the hourly care.

A written examination begins the process.
Interviewing
We give in-depth interviews, to evaluate practical skills, literacy, integrity, and personality.
References
A minimum of six references (personal and professional combination), each at a satisfactory level or better, must be obtained by the recruiter.
Criminal Background Checks
We comply with applicable laws and regulations in conducting criminal background checks. Each candidate undergoes a criminal background check at the commonwealth level if they are residents of Pennsylvania. Anyone with Pennsylvania residency or less than two years undergoes the Federal Bureau of Investigations check.
Health Policies
MACK Medical Home Care requires all of our caregivers to demonstrate compliance with state and federal regulations for working in direct contact with clients. We require a recent physical examination and an annual PPD (Mantoux) test for tuberculosis. We also require proof of Hepatitis immunization status.

Emergency Line
We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies. Our office staff rotates on-call responsibilities after business hours and on weekends.
